Hello, fellow tinkerer 👋 - Happy Friday. It's the tail-end of a holiday week here in the U.S. I took the week off from client work and did some traveling with my fam. Taking part of next week off also. No matter if you work for an employer or work for yourself, I highly recommend giving yourself at least one "recovery day" to get caught up on life stuff before resuming work. This week, I have something a bit different for the newsletter. I started writing down a bunch of tips for travel / summer and couldn't narrow it down into my regular newsletter format! So rather than save the ideas for future issues, I'm giving you the whole list. Enjoy!
That's it for this issue of Tinkering! See you again in two weeks. Anna Want more ideas?→ I talk about repurposing my LinkedIn posts to Threads in this video. → A few more things to read and listen to in this list. That's it for this issue of Tinkering! See you again in two weeks. Cheers, PS: If you like this newsletter and want to support it, here's what you can do! 1) Forward this newsletter to a friend. Sharing is caring. This newsletter may contain affiliate links, which means if you sign up, subscribe, buy, whatever, I earn a small amount. |

My...

No one but myself to blame for a jam-packed schedule. 🤣 Next time I do this, I'll be more mindful of leaving my schedule ACTUALLY free to work on projects. 1) Reflection: I...
Hello, fellow tinkerer 👋 - Happy Wednesday. It's that time of year when I need a heavy blanket in the morning and air conditioning by afternoon (thanks, Chicagoland). But as I write this, I'm staring at a stunning red tree outside my office window. Fall colors! A friend of mine shared on Facebook that, having grown up in California, she's always awed by fall. I am also, and I've lived in this part of the country my whole life! I'm forever inspired by the changing seasons. 1) Reflection: My...
